Designing and building
schools that are healthy, energy and water efficient
and comfortable improves the learning environment
and can be accomplished in a fiscally responsible
manner.
In conjunction with the U.S. Green Building Council
and UBS, Donnell-Kay Foundation will host a free,
one-day seminar that highlights the economics and
principles of building high-performance school buildings,
state policy and programs for designing such schools
and a series of case studies from school districts
across Colorado.
