According to The Denver Post, nearly 29 percent of Colorado’s 2010 high school graduates needed one or more remedial course in college.

I came across this video of Kim and her mom talking about Leadership Denver. It shows Kim in full force as a passionate leader and a caring daughter. We are lucky to have her fighting for off-track kids as DK’s Associate Director!

Denver Public Schools (DPS) now has a clearer road map for reducing the number of potential high school dropouts. The Boston-based nonprofit Jobs for the Future (JFF) partnered with the school district to figure out how to help students reach graduation.
